Update: Here at the Jones report, it was estimated a $75 Billion value of Ramaco's Brook Mine with Rare Earth elements. After yesterday's update by Fluor of $50 K per ton- we can raise the estimated value from $75B - to $85 B!
Most investors saw Ramaco’s $1.2 billion valuation from the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) and assumed that’s the full story. But that number represents just about 4% of the total rare earth resource at Brook Mine. Ramaco recently confirmed that the total deposit is now estimated at 1.7 million tons.
Using the same NPV-per-ton from Phase 1 (~$50,000/ton), the full deposit could be worth as much as $85 billion after extraction and processing costs. Even if only 25–50% of the deposit is developed, that still translates to $20–40 billion in long-term value.
The market is currently pricing METC and METCB as if Phase 1 is all there is. But this mine could span multiple decades and development phases. With a pilot plant expected in mid-2026, and over 95% of the deposit still untapped, this story will reveal itself.
Note: The $85 billion projection is based on Phase 1 economics applied to the full deposit. Actual costs can and will vary — either way, up or down — as refining methods evolve and scale. The upcoming pilot plant will help determine how efficient and profitable future phases can be.

More later so ....Stay tuned, if you dare !
For now, we close by noting that any view on the market and stocks on any particular day may change in the future days to come. That is why we watch and see how our views match up with the reality of the time. But trying to look ahead a few months into the future may be a way to do things. If you think too deep about world events and the recent alliances forming, projecting ahead can be a dicey endeavor. In all - we use the word maybe "some", not "too much" and play it accordingly. Remember, never get arrogant in our various notions because things do change in the market and individual stocks are subject to many factors outside of our control.. So we try to -stay aware.
With all the above caveats and attempted prognostications, I will close this post. Stay tuned for more opining on the market and stocks to watch.
